Punter Southall Law Partner, Martin Finnegan, shares his thoughts as a guest speaker at the recent APP Workshop

Punter Southall Law Partner, Martin Finnegan, was guest speaker at the recent Association of Partnership Practitioners’ Workshop on Capital Interests, Realising Value in Professional Services Firms on 15 November.

The Workshop was chaired by Aster Crawshaw of Addleshaw Goddard LLP and Martin spoke alongside David Carter, Partner with Deloitte, the host for the evening.  Aster described them both as ‘fantastic panellists’.

Close to 100 professionals from across the City came together in person and online to hear their views on, and experience of, realising value in professional services firms.

Martin commented on the evening,

Tonight was my first experience of the APP and it was a great opportunity to meet other professional advisers across different sectors. It was a pleasure to prepare for the workshop with Aster – who chaired the session brilliantly – and David a leading expert in this field.   The issue of realising value in professional services firms is one that I find really interesting and I’m clearly not alone.   Essentially it’s a complex but evolving space within professional services where we are going to see a lot more developments.
