The Top 100 ranks companies using a range of measures and showcases some of the best financial advisory businesses working in the UK.
In compiling the list, FTAdviser look at the growth rate of the advisory businesses, the number of years’ experience each business has managing assets in different economic and interest-rate environments, how well-qualified their advisers are, and their client retention rates, among other data.
This year, for the first time, the list also rewarded firms that are either chartered by the CII or accredited by the CISI at a company level.
Punter Southall’s placing of 9th in the list is a jump of seven places from last year, when the business came in at number 16.
