As our industry continues to adapt and change in the face of a range of both opportunities and pressures, the management of Punter Southall Wealth and the Board of Punter Southall have been considering how we might respond to this environment. We concluded that the best future for Punter Southall Wealth and our clients lay in joining a larger business and, as such, we set out to identify a suitable firm. It has taken many months to establish the right partner, and we believe, that CGWM is the one that will be best suited to meet the needs of our clients, our colleagues and our introducers. CGWM shares our vision and understands the importance of an integrated financial planning and investment management proposition. It is a firm that is committed to ensuring continuity of the high values of both service and culture, that are central to our core principles. Furthermore, as a larger business, with greater scale, CGWM has invested substantially in their infrastructure over the past few years, which we are confident will be of significant advantage to both clients and colleagues. It will also be of great benefit to our clients over the coming years, to be able to access the wider range of products and services that CGWM offers. For now, nothing changes, as the transaction requires regulatory approval by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) before completion can take place and we expect that this will take some months to obtain. Our core proposition will remain in place and your Punter Southall Wealth contacts will remain the same. CGWM sees great benefit in the addition of Punter Southall Wealth to their business and we feel it is the right partner for the future benefit of our clients, our colleagues and the business as a whole.
