Jonathan Snowdon

Punter Southall Principal Jonathan Snowdon Jonathan graduated from Exeter University in 1988, with a degree in Medical Physics. He has worked exclusively in actuarial and pensions consultancy since graduating, becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1992.

Before joining Punter Southall, he spent eight years working for a large pensions consultancy. Throughout his career he has been involved in all aspects of pensions consultancy and actuarial work.

Jonathan currently holds a Scheme Actuary certificate and the majority of his work is as a trustee adviser. However, he has also given corporate advice on the management and mitigation of pension risks and has assisted charities in addressing the pension needs of their employees within the constraints of running “not for profit” organisations.

He has a particular interest in the development of the actuarial teams at Punter Southall and is responsible for graduate recruitment.

Away from work, Jonathan is a keen horse rider – a pursuit that takes up much of his free time. He also enjoys following other sports, notably rugby and cricket.
