Edwin trained with a major firm of consulting actuaries, after graduating in Mathematics at Manchester University in 1975. He then spent some time in the pensions department of a broking organisation before joining a newly formed pensions consultancy in 1983 to establish their actuarial service. He has wide experience of providing advice for pensions schemes of all sizes and has also been involved in large-scale administrative exercises, including outsourcing whole pensions departments. Edwin is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
