Andrew Hall

Punter Southall Principal Andrew Hall Andrew joined Punter Southall in June 2003 and is a Principal. He has a first class mathematics degree from Sheffield University and qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1994.

Andrew has a wide range of pensions consultancy experience, advising both trustees and companies. He has previously worked as a senior consultant at two of the largest actuarial consultancies. Andrew has also been the Group Pensions Manager at Siemens plc, where he was responsible for pensions policy issues as well as for managing the in-house administration department on behalf of the Trustees.

He has over fifteen years’ experience in the pensions profession focused on all aspects of UK pension provision. He has been involved in advising several of his clients on changes to benefit design.

At Punter Southall, as well as being a Scheme Actuary, Andrew helps organise the firm’s external trustee training days and chairs many of the training days. He also regularly presents at Punter Southall’s client seminars. Andrew is a member of the firm’s internal ‘Taxation of Benefits’ committee.
