Wayne Phelan joins PS Independent Trustees Limited as Director

23 January 2006, Wayne Phelan has joined PS Independent Trustees Limited (PSITL), a sister company to Punter Southall, as Director. Mr Phelan, who previously worked at Prudential and Aon, has been brought on board to strengthen and develop the firm’s existing professional independent trustee business. Prior to joining PSITL, Mr Phelan has been acting solely as a professional trustee to pension schemes.

This appointment comes at a time when there is a growing need for independent professional trustee advice to pensions schemes. “With many of the issues trustees face relating to actuarial and investment matters, PSITL is firmly placed to provide trustee boards with the necessary support and skills to tackle these challenges”, Wayne Phelan commented.
