diversified portfolios using a variety of asset classes.
This session will also includes Punter Southall’s latest
thinking on using annuities to buy in security or
buy-out liabilities.

Any current or future benefit can be amended to manage
risk and cost.As well as the obvious DB to DC changes
(and the risk-sharing in between), this will encompass
liability reduction exercises, early retirement,
commutation and trivial commutation and transfer values.

of contingent assets and escrow accounts; recovery plan
periods; objectives and eventual strategic end-game

the possible impact of potential changes to IAS19;
positioning to take advantage of future changes.
