    Clare has been working in pensions and actuarial consultancy since 1994. She joined Punter Southall in 1997 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1999. She served for many years on our Taxation of Benefits Technical Sub-Committee, including chairing this Committee during the time of the A-Day tax changes. More recently, she has been heading up the development of our services and solutions for clients as a result of the recent pensions tax changes. She also serves on our Professional Affairs Committee.
     
    Clare is a Scheme Actuary and provides advice and support to trustees and employers with defined benefit and defined contribution pension arrangements. Throughout her career she has been involved in all major aspects of pensions consultancy and actuarial work. She also provides FSA regulated investment advice under our recently established PSICL investment business.

    Clare has particular experience in providing actuarial advice in relation to executive benefits, including the negotiation of termination packages. She has been involved in a number of loss of earnings cases that have gone to industrial tribunal.
     
    Clare graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in 1994 with a first class honours degree in Engineering.
